SYNOPSIS:

Preacher Powell travels the west seducing widows so he can kill them for their dowries. While in prison, he hears a prisoner sleep-talk about his bank robbery just before he's hung. Preacher is released, finds, woos, and then marries his widow. When the widow's children refuse to tell them where the bank money is and escape, he kills their mother and tracks them downriver to another widow's home. But this one is a Black Widow with a scorpion's bite and he may have met his match during an electrical storm.
