While mining for Dark-ore on the planet Metallora three slaves happen upon a rare Light Crystal which suddenly transforms the friends, healing their wounds and giving them incredible powers. Using the secrets of a Hidden City these new heroes seek to liberate their fellow slaves from the maniacal clutches of Dark-Skull and his evil horde led by the despicable Sludgor and Machina.

LightWarriors is a kid-friendly animated series inspired in no small part by the hit cartoons of the '80s and early '90s. The Animated Series is a part of a wider Transmedia effort that includes a line of action figures. The heroes are all amputees of varying conditions and the show hopes to inspire and empower kids with various forms of disability as well as normalize different bodies among kids in general.
