Led by Toggles, who dreams of being a reindeer, the Penguins discover that all Christmas Legends' ice statues are melting. Determined to restore the magic of Christmas for everyone, they devise a daring plan: to build a sleigh and escort Santa south. Amidst their efforts, mischievous siblings Cari and Beau attempt to thwart their mission for their own selfish desires.

With Mrs. Claus's guidance and magical Christmas cookies, the Penguins find their hearts illuminated with Christmas spirit, enabling them to speed Santa away on their makeshift sleigh. However, they must retrieve the lost presents—three pairs of ice skates—first from a cruise ship and then from a tropical island plagued by sea garbage.

During their journey, the Penguins discover a lost family of marooned penguins who provide them with magical ice to aid their quest.
