A player searches for three prize boxes in a spooky location full of jump scares. At the end, they keep the boxes or trade for a big prize box that might only have a jump scare inside.
SYNOPSIS:
Half-hour Horror Comedy game show for option or sale
Show Type: Self-contained
Number of Seasons: Five plus
Episode Budget: Micro ($150,000-$350,000)
Synopsis:
Each episode features a spooky location full of jump scares, and the jump scares tie into the place. A funny host or hostess explains the game to the player and audience. There’s one game per episode. The player searches for a small prize box each round, and each round has a timer. The jump scares slow down the player so they can’t find the boxes before time runs out. Each round, the jump scares are scarier, the prizes get bigger, and the player has less time. If the player finds a box before time runs out, they keep it. The boxes are hidden in different places.
At the end of the game, the player keeps the boxes they found or trades them for a “Big Box.” The “Big Box” has the biggest prize or just a pop-up jump scare. During the end of each episode, a viewer wins a prize if their name is picked.
The show has special events like holiday-themed episodes and celebrity players.
Why Make This Show?: This show is fresh, entertaining, and won’t cost a lot to make. Horror fans, Comedy fans, game show fans, teens, and adults are going to love this show.

Thanks for rating and commenting, Matthew Kelcourse! Yeah, a lot of us could use some funny scares right now. Maybe you'll be on the show one day.

Kind of a satirical take on the overuse of jump scares. I like the irony here!

Thanks for the perfect rating, Marcel Nault Jr.! Yeah, kind of a satirical take. And jump scares are great in Horror movies/shows/games if they're done right and not overused.
