About Ashley-Monet

My name is Ashley Monet. Born and raised on Long Island, NY. Adelphi University, and Erie Community College Alum. Graduate with honors with a B.S of Science degree from Adelphi in 2008, with a Minor in Communications, and a major in Sports Management. Former Collegiate athlete. (Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Field thrower.). I am a trained actress and have decided to go back to my other passion, writing. Instead of waiting for the industry to let me in, I am determined to tell my stories, and those that touch me, while also writing the roles I have been called to play. My focus is working on using my art to create a bridge between people of diverse backgrounds to create dialogue and understanding so we can build a more empathic society.
