"MINDBOGLER"
By Allen Haynes JR

GENRE: Action, Sci-fi
LOGLINE:

A high school teenager experiences a laser gun accident, unleashing the altered reality
gift on appearing on flatscreen and electronic devices, bringing him both great
opportunities and great challenges.

SYNOPSIS:

Spiderman, Quantum Leap, Mighty Max, Max Headroom

James a star, Entrepreneur, and a self-cast member. Fans adore him, so they

called him “MINDBOGLER”. Because he has tricks behind his sleeves on

stream, so many others think he’s like a magician. Other cast members never

auditioned or rehearsed with the teenager.

Although, Owens gets so bottled up by himself, doing his own dirty work. The

situation is rather unusual. He has good ratings in front of the screen of many

fans, which James enjoys the comfort of.

But, when James doesn’t like to reveal his unique gift personally in front of the public.

The gift that he chose to use, which started from within the past that he didn’t realizes back then, till now.

After the accident, from within the beginning, he failed to reconsider the danger by a motive to fire a laser gun; that blasted upon himself.

That causes a hazardous beam deflected directly at the ongoing flatscreen

device itself. In his own bedroom. Which goes directly towards Owens, blindly

unconscious.

Boy is he in for a treat, by taking possession of that weapon

from a laboratory inside a private upper-class mansion.

The mansion property belongs to both his nerdy classmate, Jeff and his father

who's the Professor. They both are geniuses, and very unreconciled family

tides to James Owen’s admiration.

Later, Owens learned that he developed more of his gift. He's acrobatic

combined with combat fighting skills, and a bit of martial arts. He travels

along the paths of genre within those devices while he remains to be secretly

trained from the alternate reality and our world of documentaries and ect..

By taking advantage from here to there, he takes sides to defend somebody as

well as himself.

Undoubtedly, he prefers fame again to gain wealth potential. Besides, he

sometimes likes to serve justice continuously at the bare minimum without

any need of assistance. So minimum, that he likes stalking troublemakers

who have curious mindsets into not knowing him, thats not visual.

However, Owens faces a difficult challenge, by using his gift thats usually not

attentionally good at Zeonar. When he escapes out of nowhere, he cannot tell

or detect Owens because of his corruption. So, therefore, Owens at times can

possibly search quietly, behind the Mastermind tracks from other ruthless

men, by word of mouth.

How unfortunate now that Owens doesn’t want to have too much attention.

Attention that he displeases fame towards the paparazzi and the mainstream

media coverage.

Even though, without proof of no markings and fingerprints of James Owens

secrets. His gifts give him the satisfaction to discover many mysterious ways

for himself to not interfere cluelessly. Without having to be afraid of anyone,

including whats within the genre of the flatscreen and electronic devices.

MINDBOGLER. I love the name, real super hero title that could fit in with the darker side of comic book culture.

I would suggest looking at 2000AD comic book style storytelling. I'm sure you'll find alot to expand on.

Good luck :)

Hey! I've been taken three pitch sessions on this. Its extraordinary how I realize that I had to be confidence to break the concept down and answering unexpected questions. Interesting to know. Thank you for that suggestion, but I only do short and film scripts in related to this character.
