I had a meeting with my producing partner the other day, and after our very productive meeting, we had a great conversation where he basically said, "I want you behind the monitor with me on set because your insight is valuable to me". I mean, talk about "making it". That was it for me. Now we just gotta keep making stuff together LOL!

Wow Karen that's amazing! Absolutely "making it". It's funny, because in our house now, each time our phone rings, we always yell 'if that's a publisher, tell em I'll sign!' Always gets a giggle!

I totally agree. I don't want to just get published or produced, I want people who get me and are enthusiastic about my work to publish or produce it. I don't want just anybody on my team ;-)

Ever since I was a little kid and my folks would take me to Walden Books at the Mall and I would pick up I book I would look at my parents and say, "I want to be an author. I want to buy my own book one day." So, i think its both ways - at least for me.
