Team Rocket is a family and sports drama about a reclusive teen, Noah, who is yanked away from his abusive dad in Florida to L.A., looking to reinvent himself into an adventurous athlete who can "fake-it" inside the clan of his new extreme-sport junkie friends. During his transformation, Noah's issues crash-land on him as his uncle reveals he is his actual father, his nerdy interests clash with his friend's interests, a crush on the "squad" leader's cousin complicates the friendship, and dangerous thrills make Noah flirt with death. Team Rocket will explore the themes of family, friendship, coming of age, and societal conformation.
