Seven young people are invited to a murder Mystery weekend at a remote castle on the coast, where the winner walks away with a bundle of cash. They are obliged to hand in their cell phones, tablets and lap tops as, in the interest of fairness, help from the outside is forbidden. Then things start to go horribly wrong when their hostess change the game plan without warning, and macabre incident after macabre incident occurs.

Dark Portal is a hybrid horror 8 X 30 series where seven unrelated youths attend a bizarre murder mystery weekend over Halloween at a remote castle with the promise to win a large cash prize. All that glitters is not gold, and the seven youngsters slowly sink into a grisly quagmire where all is not as it seems. Dark pasts resurface as the dark truth about this competition is laid bare, along with the castle’s deadly history, and the price our young heroes are expected to play!

The lm ends on a cli hanger where our heroes see the world as it really is to be for them, from that point onwards. They are compelled to choose which side of that fence they are on, the light or the dark, as the unseen war beneath our normal world ensues – setting up the world for sequels/prequels/ series.

A superb location for the shoot has been secured, Manorbier Castle in Pembrokshire, South Wales (at a reasonable cost for accommodation and location fees) and will serve as a backdrop for Dark Portal.
