Growing up in Australia’s Northern Territory, Rum Jungle, kickass Nuclear Physicist Dr Aly Pirrnum yearns for her magical homeland, where the desert meets the lush forests of the East Finnis River. Protected by deadly animals and plants, and nourished by fruitful ones, her family thrived between the modern world and 80,000 years of Dreamtime. Aly felt safest at Rum Jungle. Now it’s all dead, and so is her Dad.

Aly might be able to fix the nuclear leak from Rum Jungle’s abandoned uranium mine with the concrete and E. coli solution she formulated. She and her team might even be able to work out who, or what is picking off the scientists & miners. But can she confront why her father ditched her and took his own life so many years ago?
