SYNOPSIS:

Each of our principle characters have their own lofty ambitions, but they’re all chicken of heights!

Jabu, Saffron, Prakesh and Blind Dog are friends by circumstance, comrades in qualms, and connections by virtue of their mutual respect for Patricia Lewis. Although they care and look out for each other, they wouldn’t admit to doing it for free.

Together they make ends meet eking out an existence hustling on a Diagonal Street corner in downtown Johannesburg. By day they are harassed by Sgt Ntsimbi, by night they share their comradery in a room in the yard at the back of Mrs Vans’ Jubilee Tearoom.

Each episode has it’s own theme, and all storylines intersect somewhere between the rainbow and their next take-away chicken meal.
