currently the market is NOT looking for stories that move that zeitgeist... if you have a marketable story its probably very average :P
screw following trends (our pc culture is trash anyway) MAKE THE TRENDS GUYS!

While there's certainly a lot of fads that come and go, the industry doesn't turn on a dime. What's in demand now can be in demand for decades and adjust slowly during that time period.
