SYNOPSIS:

What happens when 2 slaves one a house nigra, the other a field hand are transported to a college campus in 2020?

Divine Intervention tells the story of Rosette and Alma, who by a power unknown to them are transported to present day Louisiana and are discovered by Kenneth Meyers, an African American History college professor, who brings them under his wing and with the help of some of his choice students help Rosette and Alma adjust or not in the New World, as Rosette refers to it as. When they discover the power of Magta, they realize it was no accident, their arrival or why they are here.
