A pair of strangers struggle to keep their inheritance after a crazy cat lady rams her car into a restaurant.

SYNOPSIS:

CHASE, a life coach, goes out for a lunchtime that will forever change his trajectory. He stops in at The Dog Spot, a local joint owned by BREWER, and gets an earful of complaints and a side of attitude while he waits for his order. A sedan full of cats, driven by the bitter bat HELEN, crashes in to The Dog Spot.

Shortly thereafter, HELEN makes her way to the Pearly Gates. Recent changes to the will come as a great surprise to ABBY, the sister who fantasized of inheriting the entire estate. She is aghast when she learns that the only inheritance coming her way consists of 28 paws and a pallet of cat litter. For it is the heroes, CHASE and BREWER, who receive a jaw-dropping windfall.

CHASE receives the house which belonged to HELEN… a modest rambler on an expansive plot of land. BREWER, unbeknownst to CHASE, receives the right to live on the land in perpetuity… which is serendipitous, seeing as she currently lives in the bank of a converted moving van.

The will, however, contains many stipulations which CHASE and BREWER must observe, or the entire estate defaults to the cunning and sinister ABBY. She and KAI, a legal eagle with a bone dry personality, salivate at the chance to evict CHASE and BREWER and claim the property for their own.
