An overworked businessman tries to reconnect with his wife and daughter on a
road trip to Yellowstone, but he ends up having to fight for their lives after they
encounter a family of bloodthirsty cannibals.

SYNOPSIS:

In a barn at a rural ranch near Yellowstone National Park, meek MOSS OSBOURNE dodges the

machete swinging KEATON EVERILL (30s) and sneaks away from Keaton's manipulative mother

PAYTON EVERILL (60s) to find his wife, REBECCA OSBOURNE (30s), with an amputated left arm and

right leg. Four days earlier, Moss and Rebecca argue about Moss working too much and missing

time with her and their daughter, DANIELLE (8). When she makes a threat to leave him, he agrees

to take time off work to go on a road trip to the Grand Canyon with them.

The next day, they make the trip to leave, and as they drive through the wilderness Rebecca and

Moss argue about him working before one of their car's tires blows out. A frustrated Moss

discovers that they do not have a spare, forcing them to walk until they find help. After a long

march they happen upon the Everill ranch, where Payton invites them in to stay the night. Later,

Moss wakes from a nap and notices Rebecca and Danielle are conspicuously absent. Payton

notices Moss on his phone and berates him for not focusing on his family, and the next morning

when Moss tries to find his family Keaton punches him.

He barely manages to flee Keaton and Payton and tries to place a call to the police, but before he

can talk to them he is captured by Keaton. He wakes in a cage in their basement and sees

Rebecca's hand on a table, and Payton reveals they are cannibals. Meanwhile, OFFICER BOBBY

NORTH and OFFICER MARY ANNE RAINS go to where Moss placed the call, and they check in with

the ranch next door to the Everill's, owned by SHELBY RANDALL (40s) who claims to not know

anything about the call. In the basement, Moss is able to break out of the cage and sneak through

the ranch barn, and as he flees he encounters North and Rains at the edge of the property.

However, Keaton and Payton kill both officers and abduct Moss again. Moss wakes under the

bodies of the officers and tries to escape, and meanwhile SERGEANT LYDIA BONE and OFFICER

FELIX PAYNE enlist the help of grizzled DETECTIVE GREEN to help find the missing officers. Moss

enters into the Everill's wine cellar and finds Rebecca with missing limbs, and she pleads with

Moss to find Danielle. Moss stabs Payton with scissors as he tries to find Danielle, and later Green

finds Moss's car, and with Bone's help discovers they never made it to the hotel they had

reservations at for that morning.

Green goes to the Everill ranch looking for answers, but Payton sends him away. Meanwhile, Moss

stabs Keaton with a machete and flees, where he runs into Green who takes him to Shelby's ranch.

The trio plots to get into a bunker on the Everill ranch, and when they break in they discover

SELMA EVERILL (20s), Payton's youngest daughter who was locked away for refusing to be a

cannibal with her family. They take Selma to safety, where she agrees to help find Danielle. She

shows Moss and Green a hidden room in the wine cellar, and the next morning Selma distracts

Payton and Keaton as Moss and Green break into the cellar Payton lies to Selma about them not

being cannibals anymore.

Moss and Green find Danielle, but as they try to escape Moss and Green are separated, and Payton

and Keaton find Moss and Danielle and capture them again. Green wanders through the ranch and

finds dead bodies, one matching a missing persons case, and Green is able to jump in and attack

Payton and Keaton right as Payton is about to cut off Danielle's arm. Selma comes down and is

horrified to see Payton and Keaton injured, and she shoots Green in the chest before taking Moss

and Danielle hostage. Moss has regretful memories of not being there for Danielle, and as Payton

and Keaton try to cut up Danielle they are discovered by Selma, who is furious that they lied.

Selma tries to stop them, and when she and Keaton wrestle over a gun she shoots him in the foot.

Selma takes Moss and Danielle's back to Shelby, where they plot to trade Selma for Rebecca the

next day. However, that night, Moss sees a photo of Shelby with Payton and Keaton, and the next

day when Payton refuses their trade offer Moss plots to kill Payton and Keaton. The next day they

sneak over with rifles and force them to give up Rebecca, and as Moss leaves with his wife Selma

stays back and kills Payton and Keaton.

However, Selma is killed by Shelby, who takes Moss and Rebecca captive as she reveals she was

the first cannibal after her husband forced her to eat the baby she miscarried. After revealing that

her husband died of cancer, Shelby locks Moss in the basement. Meanwhile, Bone and Payne enter

the Everill residence and find the dead bodies of Payton and Keaton. They explore deeper into the

house and find the bodies of the killed police officers, including Green. Later, Shelby tries to take

Danielle in as her daughter, but Danielle calls the police after Rebecca tells her to. The police

arrive and find bones in Shelby's basement, and one year later Moss, Rebecca and Danielle enjoy a

happy breakfast and life together.
