Completed Screenplay:

An eight-year-old daughter of Jewish immigrants reluctantly inherits her father’s legacy as she helps him peddle poultry to small local merchants in 1948 Chicago.  As a young woman, she gradually confronts and cuts the binds of convention that stifled her, finally choosing her own profession, her own sexuality, her own happiness.
