After an unexpected accident, an astronaut, with the most important mission in the history of mankind, relies on memories from the past to return to the spacecraft from which he was separated.

SYNOPSIS:

An asteroid is headed for Earth, James is chosen to pilot the spacecraft in charge of destroying it. He has prepared all his life for this mission, after dreaming of the day of his death in childhood. The mission reaches the comet, but fails to destroy it. Back on Earth, James is the only survivor of a disastrous landing. With no more chances, the Earth authorities take the option of filling a ship with genetic material and launching it into space, choosing a clone of James as the pilot, cloned many times until the target is reached.
