A former soldier uses a necromancer ritual to bring her husband back to life only to be terrorized by the demonic spirit which possesses him and it’s up to her and a local priest to stop the demonic entity.

SYNOPSIS:

FAST PITCH: A 20s something Andrea was a US Soldier and fought in the Afghanistan War. During her PTSD counseling she meets a fellow soldier, Nick and the two bond over their shared experiences and marry. 10 years later they now have a son, Jacob, and live in rural New York.

Andrea visits the home of her friend Ethan who is hosting a group of friends, including Stanley, and a medium Madame Toussant. Possessed by a spirit, Madame Toussant warns her audience of the Devourer, telling them he is coming and can cross the astral planes.

Nick succumbs to a widespread virus that millions die from, and Andrea is utterly devastated by his death. So much so that she contemplates suicide then turns to the occult to summon Nick back from the dead. She and Ethan exhume Nick’s corpse then performs a ritual which resurrects him.

At first it seems as though it has works, be soon enough it would appear the Devourer has possessed Nick’s body, enabling him to indulge in a deadly rampage, and only the local priest seems capable of stopping the demon and saving young Jacob.
