When a Doctor travels to Mars to investigate his friend's murder, he is entangled in a conspiracy with crime-lords, farmers, and revolutionaries.

SYNOPSIS:

“On Mars You Never Know Who You Can Trust.”

DR. JACK GREYSON travels to MARS in 2187 to take the job of CHIEF-OF-STAFF of MARS GENERAL HOSPITAL. He expects to be welcomed with a friendly attitude. That turns out not to be the case. Some of the Staff are friendly to Jack. But a few are openly hostile. Jack has a secondary Mission. He’s there to determine what happened to his Friend RON BRADFORD, who was the previous Chief-of-Staff. Bradford went missing 18 months prior to Jack's arrival. He promised his friend’s Mother that he’d learn the truth. Jack must initially “Play it Cool” so no-one at MARS GENERAL knows what he’s up to.

Over time Jack begins to settles in. Then things start going Sideways. He meets a Beautiful but Mysterious Woman who may turn out to be the Love of his Life. He gets involved with an Illicit Medical Underground Movement. There’s a Hint of Revolution in the Air.

He meets a Notorious yet affable Crime-Lord who may be involved in the Hijacking of Valuable Materials. He Travels aboard a Bizarre Airship with an Eccentric Pilot to an Outlying Private Farm Hundreds of Kilometers away from MarsPort to treat a severely Injured boy where he's faced with suspicion and hostility. He's accused of being a Revolutionary. Jack must prove himself innocent....Before it's too late!

And of course he has to solve a Mystery. Who Killed an Old Friend and Why? JACK goes from being a Loner who only trusts his own instincts to a Man who learns the true value of relying on Friends for Help.

And if that isn't enough, he's a Former Teever (Total Virtual Reality) Addict.
