Ned Merrill is going home

SYNOPSIS:

On a beautiful bright sunny day former hollywood star Ned Merrill emerges from a narrow lane protected by a secluded wood, and walks into a prosperous small town. He is going home, to his wife and daughters. He is very elegantly dressed, carries an expensive leather shoulder bag which he continually taps to reassure himself it is still there, He has a wedding ring, and an expensive watch - he is the picture of success and confidence.

Through a series of chance encouters, the story of Neds life begins to be revealed and it is at odds with his appearance - and as Ned is forced to think about the reality of his past, his public apprearance begins to unravel, until finally he reaches home where reality and fantasy collide resulting in Neds final public shaming.
