After losing his wife to a random case of ride-share violence, a driver in recovery struggles to hold onto his faith and sobriety as his inner demons seek vengeance and retribution against the industry they hold responsible.
SYNOPSIS:
Joe Gallo, ride-share driver, happily married. He’s ready to move on to the next phase of his life with his wife of many years, away from the stress and anxiety of South Florida. That all changes when a driver injures him, and a violent assault on his wife leaves her brain dead. The final straw comes amid a hail of false accusations from passengers, causing him to lose his income. These catalysts open the door to his past, allowing his demons which have been locked away for 30 years, to escape. The ride-share industry destroyed his life, now, he was going to return the favor, one ride request at a time
Johnny Dangle, a gruff and sarcastic cop from New York, transplanted to the Sheriff’s department in South Florida after a nasty divorce. He’s working a case involving the murders of local ride-share drivers, which don’t seem to be connected. With the help of CSI Tommy D’amasi (Toenail Tommy) and Coroner Andrea Mitchell, they bring the case to fruition with a climatic ending. Little do they know, it’s just the beginning? When additional drivers and passengers begin showing up dead on the streets of South Florida, it’s up to Detective Dangle to unravel why.
Jennifer Atwood, single, attractive, unhappy with her job working as a social media reporter for WDCK News in Miami. She sees the murders as her way up the ladder of success and out of her social media hellhole.
The murders allow Dangle and Atwood hook up in more ways than one trying to solve them. But Joe Gallo’s determination to make the ride-share industry pay for all they’ve stolen, may prove too much, leading to a climatic bloody end for them all.
