SYNOPSIS:

Over the four years of high school, Penny has maintained a notebook in which she keeps a profile on every guy in her school, listing all of their pros and cons. Her childhood best friend Wyatt, has had a crush on her since they were kids and desperately wants to take her to the prom. In an ill-conceived plot to make sure Penny doesn’t have a date to the prom, Wyatt swipes the book and shows it to Penny’s rival, Max. She subsequently copies the pros-and-cons list, adds some nastier comments of her own and distributes it all over school. As a result, Penny’s popularity plummets and her original date no longer wants to go to the prom with her. Worse, she accuses her best friend Deena and the two stop being friends. Wracked with guilt, Wyatt fesses up to his part in the crime and Penny wants nothing more to do with him. With the prom drawing close, Wyatt is determined to make Penny forgive him as everyone scrambles for last minute dates.
