When a wave of mysterious animal attacks grip a small and forgotten town, a
grief-stricken mother must enlist the help of a deputy sheriff and a doctor to
save her son from an ancient evil.
SYNOPSIS:
After the sudden death of her husband, Sandra takes her young son Simeon to her childhood home of Glacier, Washington – a remote town on the edge of a massive forest. During a reflective walk in the forest, Sandra loses Simeon and, after what feels like an eternity, finds him stumbling outside a cave, but he doesn’t seem himself. He is weak, unable to talk and spewing up black vomit. Over the coming days Simeon’s behavior shows signs for concern, which coincides with a series of gruesome animal attacks and whispers of an ancient evil spreading through the community. The doctors equate Simeon’s changes to something he may have eaten, but Sandra begins to question everything and takes matters into her own hands. She convinces Mato, a Native American with a mysterious past, to help her but when Simeon goes missing, the unfolding events show that those closest to Sandra are not not really trying to help her at all. No matter what happens and no matter the cost, Sandra will stop at nothing to protect her only son.
