SYNOPSIS:

Time Hustlers is a half-hour comedy series that follows two street hustlers, armed with a make-shift time machine, as they travel through time and dilemma, with the hopes at changing their fate. Charlie Fine (30) has recently had a string of bad luck: from loosing his Fiancée, to loosing his job as lead engineer, he is now living on the street. That is where he reunites with his former Physics Professor, Francis (65), a quick-talking, inventor, who is convinced that he has built and created a machine that can travel through time! After Francis’s time travel presentation goes horribly wrong, Charlie approaches him for some advice for ‘living on the streets”, what he gets, do not trust anyone, and what is on the streets belongs to the street people. Charlie wakes up the next morning to all his belongings having been stolen, including his invention: The Future of Shopping- a shopping cart that has a computer screen and database built right into it. Charlie sets out to locate Francis and track down his stuff. The clues lead him to his old Highschool, where he locates Francis, camped out with his shopping cart, having attached the Time Machine, insisting that it was the “missing link” he needed to make it work. The two frenemies are now attached at the hip, as they discover the true power and freedom that this machine gives them. The hustle is on, and no one is safe!
