A painfully naive teenager ropes her dorky best friend into a trip to London, where she hopes to claim the heart of the irresistible Irish dancing icon of the 90s: Michael Flatley. 

SYNOPSIS:

This is a story about once best friends Erica and Janelle as they are propelled into international lands (England) to see their favorite things: Riverdance and the place where JRR Tolkien wrote The Lord of the Rings books. (Very Celtic, I know.) Their friendship is tested when Erica’s Michael Flatley obsession overrules any of Janelle’s Tolkien suggestions. And when Erica is smitten by a Riverdance soloist, the gloves come off, and their friendship takes a severe beating. What was supposed to be a trip of reconnection has become a trip of retribution when the girls have to face the wounds each other has caused. They each go separate ways -- Erica to Riverdance and Janelle to the Tolkien Trail. But friendship takes the lead, and Erica sacrifices meeting Michael Flatley to apologize to Janelle for her selfish behavior. Michael Flatley 4Evr? More like Erica and Janelle BFF 4Evr!
