When a political icon dies, two political players get in contestation to the service of his spin-doctor after realising only the man's resurrection could conquer the mind of intransigent electorates.

SYNOPSIS:

The sudden death of President Manika, just a few months to the election does not only

halts the state’s stability but puts the ruling party at the threat of losing its confidence

among the voters. The task of choosing an astute leader among its member who will fill

the vacuum left by the prestigious man becomes their toughest chore. A leader that will

capture the mind of the citizens just like the late sage is urgently needed if the election

must be won their trust. However, two alluring leaders- Sipho Ubuntu- the vice president

and Joseph Zondi, the party Secretary- General found qualified but since only one will

be the president, Ubuntu becomes the winner and Zondi, his vice.

Zondi is not pleased with the decision and thus seeks the man that makes his plans fall

before the electorates he has previously captured. This however does not take long

before discovering his longtime adversary, Thabo Makuwa, the late president’s spin

doctor appoints by Ubuntu. In other for Zondi to become president, he must reconcile

with this longtime enemy. Without hesitation, he sets the ball rolling and after a

sequence of tricks, he succeeds to capture him. Thabo’s support for Zondi introduce a

new contestation, political rivalry and faction between the ruling party and the nation.

Meanwhile, Thabo’s spin job gets him acquainted to thirst for power. And as the

election gets underway, he shocks his two bosses of his decision to run for the same

executive highest office. He wants to implement everything he has been doing under

these political leaders. However, different campaign adds to the faction among the

electorates because the biggest spinner will have the major followers. Each leader

resuscitates strategy and diverse game plan to spin for themselves.

Ubuntu emphasizes that education would be the only means of liberation which his

predecessor commanded, but to Zondi, the late sage lifestyle and way of life have proof

that power belongs to the people and their decision is final, hence to Thabo, it’s time for

the youth to take over from all the power seeking-men just according to the late sage’s

belief that youth must crush all old chicks who prevent young chick from crowing. They

set the game of spin rolling since the craftiest spinner will be the favourite. Who is most

professional liar? Whose tricks can capture the mind of voters best. Who among them is

the man of people and who are men of liars? What methods are best used by politicians

to capture the electorates?
