After getting shot by a jealous gang member of the Detroit Boys - twice in the chest, once in the head - and left for dead, Vic awaken from a three month coma and make the most inspirational comeback in boxing history.
SYNOPSIS:
Story: Based on the incredible life story of Victorio Belcher, an up and coming, welter- weight boxer from Indiana who reluctantly runs drugs on the side for the notorious Detroit Boys to make ends meet. But, soon after he signs to fight for the championship of the world, Vic is shot by a jealous gang member - twice in the chest, once in the head - and left for dead in the streets of South Bend. After he awakens from a three month coma, Vic, by the grace of God and support of his ailing father by his side, begins the most inspirational comeback in sports history.

Love the idea. I would remove the detail of where the boxer was shot from the logline. It is a cool detail but slows breaks the logline and it's read up. It is also not important to the overall story which is what the logline focuses on. You tell us that he gets shot by a gang and is then in a coma. That is all we need to know :)
