Two people who are completely different except for the exact same name are forced to share a one-bedroom apartment they both rented out when they move to New York City.

SYNOPSIS:

A show that is based on 'The Odd Couple" but now made for 2021, two complete strangers one a gay black man from San Fransico, and a straight white male from Dallas are forced to live together in a one-bedroom apartment when a mix-up by the landlords, a married couple Todd and Angie, accidentally rents the apartment to both guys. The only thing they have in common is the sharing the same name Donald Cooper. With no other options, they agree to live together for a month until a new apartment opens up. Now, these two guys must learn how to co-exist when they come from completely different worlds and have different personalities. Donald " Donnie" Cooper, has moved from San Fransico to make it in Broadway. Black, gay, vegetarian, loves, cleanliness, art, fashion, show tunes, and Britney Spears. Donald "Coop" Cooper from Dallas, is your typical straight white guy. He loves steak, whiskey, sports, cigars, and being messy doesn't bother him. He moved to New York to become a hotshot stockbroker and only agrees to live with Donnie when he meets Liz, his beautiful Latina neighbor with whom he instantly falls in love with. The first season focuses on these two getting to know each other and the worlds they come from. With hilarious situations, crazy bets, and learning to become friends.
