When a once in a lifetime opportunity presents itself, a former superstar athlete decides he must go back to school and face his demons in order to move forward with his life.

Mitch Handle's life hasn't turned out as planned. Bad luck combined with bad decisions have him running a construction company instead of playing professional football. When a second chance arises, Mitch has to decide whether he can forget his past mistakes and grudges in order to move forward.

Mitch's belief that relationships and success are intertwined has him caught in a self imposed purgatory. His closeness with his mother and sister seem to be cancelled out by a disastrous breakup with "the one", a former coach and a feeling of frustration with a father who never seems to see anything positive in him.

Due to a new college rule and a desperate situation, Mitch now has the opportunity to face all three of his demons and put his life back on track....or does he?
