Hi All, I was wondering who your favorite directors are? I would love to know and see who is inspiring people these days or if you are influenced by their styles and use it in your work?

I've been writing and re-writing the same pilot a lot lately and just switched up and did a short story because it was something new.

I'm curious if there's anyone in the San Diego area that'd be interested in talking about tips and just screenwriting in general, that way I don't always have to pay $$$ for assistance. Still very much a rookie at this. That's all folks. Thanks

My name is Joseph and I'm an unemployed screenwriter.

I owe so much of who I am to the movies and tv shows I've seen and since the lockdowns, I've decided to take a chance and try to be a part of the industry. I would love to create something that people watch and have a connection with, so that's the goal.

PS - La La Land is the greatest movie of all time and Paddington 2 is better than Citizen Kane :)
