Though I live in LA now, I'll always be a Chicago boy (GO CUBS!!) KING KONG (the 1933 original) is the movie that made me want to make movies. That flick got into my head. My mom once dragged me inside when she found me standing atop a fire hydrant out in front of our apartment roaring at cars passing by (sadly, I had no Fay Wray in hand).
I was rescued from an IT career by acceptance in USC's graduate production program, which brought me to Los Angeles. I had a fun festival run with my thesis film ANTEBODY (played 50+ festivals, winning a few along the way). Real life required me to return to IT for a few years.
I'm gearing up to get back into moviemaking mayhem with a few horror shorts. Let's see where things go from there.
