Flipping Out Comedy Marivic, a naïvely optimistic 14-year-old girl from the Philippines who uses daydreams and fantasy to cope with reality, believes her life is finally changing for the better now that she and her siblings are moving to America. All her hopes and expectations come to a head when she ends up at Jefferson Davis, a high school in inner city Jacksonville. It’s a half hour comedy that explores the American experience from a newer American perspective.
Characters Comedy Jason, a naïve, brown kid from rural Florida, leaves behind his “evil stepmother” to go after his big break, becoming a character actor at a low rent theme park. He soon discovers his road to happily ever after is full of detours when the Charming Prince, the dictator who controls this whimsically deplorable place, sets his sights on him. With the help of two jaded, veteran employees, Jason must learn to survive this strange new land.
