Hey everybody, happy Tuesday! Just wanted to put some feelers out there for anyone who has attended (or knows of) the Kidscreen Summit. I've been thinking of going to one for some time, and since they're offering it virtually this year, it's much more feasible for me to attend. That being said, it's still a significant financial commitment, so I want to make sure it'd be worth it. Has anyone ever been to a Kidscreen Summit before? If so, what have your experiences been like? Also, any general advice for a first-time attendee of an event like this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Hello! Very green screenwriter here posting for the first time in the screenwriting lounge. Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed at length, but if anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it! I'm currently writing a spec script for an existing show on Netflix - mostly for practice, but also to have something new in my portfolio. I've been working on an outline before going to script because a) it's helpful, and b) I know staff writers on shows are often asked to submit outlines before getting the go-ahead to write (right? :S).

Either way, I'm curious to know whether or not there are standard practices for how an outline should look and feel from a reader's perspective. How much/how little information are folks looking for in an outline, and are there certain things I should be including/not including? Is there a desired page count for an outline?
