When pasta-savant Ricky takes second place in his Neighborhood Pasta Cook-Off, beaten by interloper Lilly’s noodles, a freak accident sends him to an all-pasta world, where he must learn that all ronis are valuable.

SYNOPSIS:

Ricky, known in school as a "Pasta Savant", the Jimmy Neutron of macaroni, has grown up with a passion for pasta, a protege in his Nonna’s Little Italy pasta shop, which is now on the brink of closing. Their nemesis and new addition to the neighborhood, Lao Lao's Noodle Shop, home to Lao Lao & her granddaughter Lilly, is taking all their business. Ricky must do something to save his grandmothers shop, but will he use the tools of tradition that his Nonna taught him, or go his own way? His stubbornness lands him in the carnival ride-sized Spaghettinator 3000, teleporting him to a world never seen before, only he's no longer human, he's his macaroni self, being chased by his school rival, Lilly LoMein, and his own flesh & blood, Don Lasagna, who is now the tyrannical Mayor of Machattan. Will Ricky escape this magical world using the age ole macaroni recipes and rescue Nonna's shop or will he and his new friends be processed into a one size fits all roni, forever losing their sense of originality and purpose? * The Macaronis was Co-Written with Warren Coleman (writer/director of Happy Feet)
