I'd suggest rewording the structure of this logline a little, just to really sell the protagonist's goal and conflict. For example: 'After countless failed auditions, a young aspiring actor attempts to achieve his relentless dreams of movie stardom by writing his own story, facing down the film industry's harsh monopoly in the process.'
