Greetings, I'm a screenwriter from Detroit who is currently finishing up revisions on my first full length screenplay. I'm very excited for the networking possibilities and look forward to being an active member with Stage 32 and meeting people from all backgrounds. Wade

Hi .... welcome to my network. I see that you have some experience as a screen writer. I am currently working on three short 1/2 hour scripts that are collectively known as "Ghost Stories of WW2", each script has a religious connection rather than say a spooky or evil type ghost story .... the first story deals with "The Angel of Death" and a Battalion aid station where wounded soldiers are taken and a nurse who is stationed there who keeps seeing this ghostly figure next to these soldiers who are close to death. The second story is about St. Christopher (Patron Saint of Travelers)and a young soldier who joins the army against his fathers wishes and is given a family heirloom ( a st. Christopher's medal) by his father just before he leaves .... the story deals with the appearance of St. Christopher when the young soldiers gets himself into trouble) ..... The third story .... (and hopefully , this is where you might come in,) is .... as of yet unwritten ... its kind of an open page at the moment as long as it comports with the overall theme of having a religious spin of some kind .... it could be good vs. evil or an angle or a guardian of some kind .... or simple a ghost of some kind ...... like I said, its kind of an open page at the moment. I started to draft an outline of a story where a German sniper mistakenly shoots and kills a young French child after mistaking him for an enemy combatant .... he is plagued with guilt and the constant reappearance of the ghostly image of the child he mistakenly killed. Its a story idea about seeking forgiveness and finding God. It originally started out with the sniper in a mental hospital speaking to a counselor and reflecting his story in flashbacks and interviews with the mental health counselor. But that was as far as I got ... and its really just a scattered outline at the moment. IT had a working title of "Das Gunter'shootzen" .... which loosely means "The Marksmen or the Sniper" in German. I also started a script called "Brothers in Blood" which detailed two soldiers dieing on the battlefield next to each other , who find out that they are not all that different, and put their differences aside to make peace with each other ... in the end they provide last rights to each other and meet up again "On the Other side / Heaven" ..... again ... just a scattered outline at this point. Would you be interested in pursuing a script for the "Ghost Stories of WW2" trilogy ?

I'm working a WW2 screenplay anthology ……. it has a working title of "Ghost Stories of WW2" ….. it somewhat of a science fiction piece …. but mainly based in reality ….. by that I mean …. mainstream style story with a spiritual element …… one story deals with the appearance of "St. Christopher" (Patron saint of travelers" ………. another story deal with "The Angel of Death" and crossing from this plain to the spiritual realm ….. the last story is still up in the air and I have been stuck on it for the past year …. just cant seem to get it flowing …………. what are you writing at the moment ?

I am a local actor (always looking for decent film projects) and I also direct short films ....
