SYNOPSIS:
Small towns are funny things. Got all the corners of a big city, just don't got all the souls. Whisper, Wyoming seems to give up souls at an alarming rate. Several of the people who live or pass through there have gone missing or been found dead. A couple is found in their bed, The saloon owner is found dead on top of the bar, a bottle tipped over and leaking next to him. A gambler breaks his neck on his way down a flight of stairs. The madam is found smothered in bed by a client. A traveling preacher walks into the saloon and never walks out. A local mother finds a snake in her laundry basket and can't pull away in time. The stone mason chisels out a new headstone for “Jack S”, who's sitting in a jail cell. Through it all, Jilli stands in the saloon, smiling.
