SYNOPSIS:
Jillian is not a woman to be crossed. Anyone who lives in Whisper, Wyoming will tell you that. Actually, they won't. They don't want their name to be the next one carved in stone. So long as everyone lives by her rules and keeps her happy, she's a good girl. Slowly, through several dead residents, Jillian has acquired most of the town. When Jack comes to town, she turns her eye on him to enact her final revenge on the town that never protected her. Awakening from a drunken stupor. Jack discovers two dead children at a homestead and is scheduled to be hung by the grieving father. Right before the rope drops, Jack confesses the crime to Jillian. Jillian's regret only starts when the next rope is for her, the town's payment for her scheming and murderous ways. Whisper, Wyoming residents move away and leave a ghost town. Presently, Lacey's school is making the trip to Whisper for a "day in the Old West" field trip. She doesn't realize not all the characters she sees are actors. On the way back home, the bus passes the old homestead, where Jillian's story started and Lacey utters her famous last words "never did like that stead".
