How long can preteen Martha and her divorcing family outrun intelligent zombies nicknamed "Chippers," capable of learning and upgrading themselves to combat every strategy the survivors create? Will she be able to handle this new world, or will the truth about who's behind it destroy what is left of them?

SYNOPSIS:

Martha and her family are forced from their home as they retreat into the mountains of Scoite's Peak. In this life-or-death game of hide-and-seek, they realize the "Chippers" are not just AI-controlled zombies but evolving and adapting monsters.

As they encounter other survivors attempting to flee like them, they eventually find themselves cornered and battling with the Chippers in a futile attempt to stay among the living. As Martha and what’s left of the survivors feel that they are getting the upper hand, the Chippers become more skilled at ambushing and harder to kill. The group must uncover the source of this nightmare and who’s responsible if they ever want to stop the apocalypse before they are all devoured.
