Benjamin Barak Andrews

Benjamin Barak Andrews has produced and directed several films, including Prick, Sacreligion, Nowhere Man, Star Trek: Phoenix, Blank and The Sheets Must Be Silk.

His writing credits also include several original film scripts, including Stop Requested, Star Trek: Phoenix - Cloak & Dagger, Bloodletter and The Sheets Must Be Silk. He’s currently working on the feature film script Retribution and consulting on the feature Soulless.

Ben made his directorial debut in 2009 with the short film The Sheets Must Be Silk and the Star Trek Phoenix vignette, Fractured Logic.

Ben’s specialty is driving a film from conception through to final product and has a gift for providing a safe environment for creative personalities. He has extensive networking contacts in the professional Pacific NW film industry and is a natural at finding the right person for the right job.

Ben has also achieved critical acclaim as an actor, playing pivotal roles in several local shorts, feature films and commercials. Some of his more noteworthy roles include the short films Sacreligion, Nowhere Man (Audience Choice Award – Washougal International Film Festival), and the features Blank, Dominance, Keep Your Day Job Superstar, Son of Terror and Ordinary Angels. His theater experience brings another layer of passion and intensity to his performances. He has appeared on stage at several local theatre companies.
