Hell-bent on changing the American political landscape, a rebellious college dropout joins forces with a radical left wing militant organization, the Weather Underground, whose aim is to bring about the revolution, by any means necessary.

Are you completely certain a college dropout joining an extremist militia to commit domestic terrorism would make for a protagonist people could root for? Hopefully through twists and turns in the plot of the film the moral of the story would turn out to be "Children, joining politically radical militias (doesn't matter weather it's far left or far right) to commit revolutionary terrorism IS BAD." Maybe that was always meant to be the moral of the story. I don't know I haven't read the script.

Thanks for the feedback Benedek, certainly a fair point. I guess my counter to that would be that, you don’t always have to root FOR a protagonist… who is to say that the reverse is not the intended outcome?
