When a retired, alcoholic Marine decides to kill himself out of guilt over giving the order that resulted in his buddy’s death, his Guardian Angel takes him on a tour of his past lives and bad decisions, where he learns that life is still worth living.

SYNOPSIS:

Aevery Warrier, a retired Marine is just about to kill himself, when his Guardian Angel, Edward, is given permission from the Karmic Council to intervene, so Edward makes Aevery believe he just committed suicide. At his “wake,” he learns things about his family that he really didn't want to know. Edward teaches him that life is still worth living, and that his family still needs him. Edward and Aevery visit the place of his ancestors. He meets his grandpa who died in Vietnam, and sees his buddy who died in Iraq. Things seem to be turning around, when Edward gets a message from the Karmic Council that Aevery has been away from his body too long. Now with limited time, he must travel through his own personal hell, to get back to his body before he actually dies.
