About Nour
After a Master's degree in Cinema from the Sorbonne, I pursued further studies in Production and Direction at the Center Européen de Formation à la Production de Film.
In 2010, I relocated from Paris to Rome. By 2014, I had directed my debut short film, "Ricochet" which won the Special Critics' Award at the Maazzeni Film Festival.
Between 2015 and 2016, I completed two additional shorts: "Mokusatsu" which won 25 awards and was selected in over 70 festivals, and "The Taste of Salt" honored with the Technical and Film Quality Award at Roma FilmCorto and the Best Short Film Award at the Spiraglio Film Festival of Mental Health.
In 2018, I founded Raganella Production, an independent film production company in Rome. Under its banner, I developed various works, including "Reaching Terminus", a documentary highlighting healthcare for refugees who have been victims of torture, and "Recess", a short film on youth hardship, winner of the "Social Film Fund con il Sud" tender, an initiative promoted by the Apulia Film Commission and the Fondazione con il Sud.
In 2021, I've won the "Imaginaries of Global Migration" call, sponsored by the Roma Tre University. This allowed me to create "The Sheep", a short film shedding light on do-it-yourself ritual slaughter and its impact on the psyché of young children.
Since 2022, I have expanded my focus to include the development and production of works by emerging authors and directors.
Additionally, I've served as a jury member in several international film festivals focusing on mental health and African topics.
