SYNOPSIS:

Set in the real world of an upstart campaign for citywide office in Los Angeles in 2013, AMBUSH follows a young campaign manager on the effort to elect the first openly LGBT candidate to citywide office in Los Angeles history through a chaotic day. What starts as a typically-stressful morning kicks into high gear when reporters start asking if it is really the candidate in a photo on a flyer complaining about the hours of a gay spa. The plot thickens as the photo is revealed to be a fake, and the private eye who faked it shows up at a community forum... a poster board, and large camera in hand.
