As an amateur television writer, I have been extremely reticent to seek out feedback on my work. I have a fragile ego! As such, my writing doesn't improve and I stay stuck in a world filled by overly expository writing paralleled with stories that lack conflict.__I spoke with Anna Henry and it was one of the best decisions I have made. She spent an hour on the phone with me. She was blunt and direct and honest - and I so appreciate that. And she was supportive and reassuring. In our discussion, she helped me uncover a more interesting and compelling story than what I had written. Plus Anna gave me some exercises to complete in watching other shows, and some solid suggestion on how to improve my pilot script. __I can' t thank Anna enough for her insights, expertise, professionalism and commentary. I may never win an Emmy but I feel more confident in the direction I'll be taking.
