This June has been a busy and exciting time as our Stage 32 Team worked diligently to bring in as many new resources and opportunities as possible to enrich your experience here in our community!

Michèle Vice-Maslin, Emmy-Winning Hit Music Producer, Songwriter, Publisher, Speaker, and Educator

Michèle Vice-Maslin publishes, composes (both music & lyrics), produces/arranges for artists, films, TV, ads, promos, games, etc. with numerous major label hit songs & cuts worldwide as well as over 5000 film/tv/media music placements for her companies Mob Force Productions and Sweetersongs. Her music airs on TV/radio every day, 365 days a year.

Michèle will be teaching the upcoming webinar, How To Produce And Sell Songs For Film And Television, starting on July 18th.

Andrew M. Henderson, Writer & Producer working in Film, TV, and Video Games.

Andrew M. Henderson is a Writer & Producer working in Film, TV, and Video Games. Most recently, Andrew just finished a 15-month writing stint for a new AAA-game studio, THAT'S NO MOON, helping to create an upcoming game based on a major IP. This year, he optioned a contained Sci-Fi/Thriller feature to a producer from the SKYLINE franchise. Andrew has sold film and TV projects to various companies, including Runaway Planet Content, Go Media, Paradox Productions, Cinelou Productions, Bee Holder Productions, Storyboard Entertainment, and Rebellion Studios, among others. His 2014 Sci-Fi/Thriller film, FLASHES, featuring Tom Sizemore and Christopher Judge, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Tubi. From a producing standpoint, Andrew is attached to several projects currently being packaged around town.

Andrew will be teaching the upcoming webinar, How To Break Into And Write For The Video Game Industry, starting on July 20th.

Val McLeroy, Literary Manager & Screenwriter

Val McLeroy is a Literary Manager at Epigram. Although she has worked as an actor, a wardrobe supervisor, a script supervisor, and a post-production supervisor, Val’s primary background has been as a development executive at several companies including Atlantic and Green/Epstein Productions (GROWING PAINS: THE MOVIE, MALPRACTICE, ABOVE & BEYOND). While at Green/Epstein she produced several TV movies, two of which she wrote (as V. R. McDade) for Lifetime: SPIRIT (starring Elisabeth Moss, Greg Evigan, Austin O'Brien) which was nominated for a Humanitas award and HEART OF THE STORM (Starring Tom Cavanagh, Melissa Gilbert). As a writer herself, she understands the needs and concerns of writers and is a calming and knowledgeable supporter.

Val has been partnered with Doug Draizin in managing writers for a number of years. McLeroy and Draizin currently have writers working with Amazon, Netflix, and Fremantle on projects such as REACHER, FUBAR, SCORPION, NCIS, and AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER.

Eric Zimmerman, Producer & Screenwriter

After leaving Chicago for LA, Eric got his start on IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA (FX) by doing the one thing you're never supposed to do - handing the creators a spec of their own series. Since then, he's spent the last fifteen years staffed on a wide variety of comedies - from adult animated shows like MONGO WRESTLING ALLIANCE (Adult Swim) and the critically-acclaimed DAN VS (The Hub), to writing on all 100 episodes of the primetime multi-cam BABY DADDY (Freeform). Last year, he finished his third and final season as a Co-EP on the multi-cam SYDNEY TO THE MAX (Disney). In addition to staffing, he's recently sold several kids and family projects to Disney and Netflix. He currently has a multi-cam project in development at Disney. When Eric's not busy writing, he enjoys spending time with his young daughter, playing basketball, and rewriting his bio.

Mike Griffin, Talent Manager & Producer

Mike Griffin is a talent manager and producer at MAKE GOOD Content in Santa Monica, CA. Mike works in artist management and creative development where his focus is TV/film production in both animation and live-action along with representing actors, comedians, and screenwriters.

Mike works alongside Paul Young, the Emmy-winning producer of KEY AND PEELE, who founded and ran Principato-Young Entertainment for 17 years. Founded in 2018, MAKE GOOD Content is a talent management firm and production company. While representing top-tier talent, MAKE GOOD also has turnkey production services compatibilities across many forms of entertainment including animation, live-action, documentaries, and podcasting.

Paul and Mike have produced dozens of movies and television shows, including RENO 911 for Comedy Central, CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE and KEANU for WB/New Line, WOMAN IN THE BOOK for Crypt TV & Facebook Watch, and the hit docuseries, THE COMEDY STORE for Showtime which chronicled the epic history of the World Famous Comedy Store on Sunset. Mike and MAKE GOOD is partnered with Starburns Industries, the animation studio behind RICK AND MORTY and the Oscar-nominated ANOMALISA.

Robin Galloway, Literary Manager & Producer

Robin Galloway is a NY-based literary manager and producer whose journey as a storyteller spans continents and disciplines. Robin currently serves as a Manager/Producer for LA-Based Gramercy Park Entertainment which represents an elite and diverse list of writers, directors, and producers working across film and television on such projects as THE ROOKIE, SWEET TOOTH, SEAL TEAM, MINDHUNTER, and FRACTURE.

After growing up internationally, Robin majored in political science and began her career as a journalist and content editor for American Lawyer Media. She went on to work in the IT, finance, government, and not-for-profit sectors, as well as for Hollywood giants FOX/TNT and Sony Pictures Entertainment.

In 2012, after working as a writer, performer, and producer for both stage and screen, Robin established P-38 Lightning Productions and has specialized in the development and production of scripted series, films (feature, short & documentary), pitching, acquisitions, film festival circuit, fundraising, and multi-media work. Prior to joining the GPE team, she was a consulting buyer for indie distributor, Film Movement (2019-2021).

Kym Jackson, Actress, Author, & President of the Secret Actor Society

Kym Jackson (THIS IS US, S.W.A.T., N.C.I.S., THE SECRETS SHE KEEPS) is an actress credited with over sixty feature films & TV series. She just wrapped her first film as a producer, OTHER YOU, a family sci-fi feature, in which she stars opposite Luke Ford and Arj Barker.

A member of American MENSA, Kym is the author of the Amazon best-selling textbook, The Hollywood Survival Guide For Actors, a comprehensive 300+ page guide to navigating the industry. She is the founder of the Secret Actor Society app and website, which boasts over 3000 classes and Q&A’s from 50+ industry experts and casting directors that reveal the strategies best used by actors to obtain success in their careers. Her mission is to share that knowledge with her peers and the next generation of talent.

As a coach and regular speaker for organizations including SAG-AFTRA, MEAA, WIFT, Spotlight, Kym has taught thousands of actors to navigate the business of acting. Her coaching sessions incorporate mindset work and techniques to help artists develop and maintain the mental fortitude required to successfully pursue a career acting professionally in the film & TV industry. Kym is also a SAG-AFTRA convention delegate, who in 2022 proposed and gained unanimous support from the delegation for her resolution to limit self-tape lengths - a key point in the 2023 SAG-AFTRA negotiations.

Sam Newman, Creative Executive at Semi-Formal Productions

Sam Newman is currently a Creative Executive at Semi-Formal Productions. The company was co-founded by Michael Showalter (whose producing and director credits include: the Oscar Nominated film THE BIG SICK, the Emmy Winning Series GRACE & FRANKIE, THE SHRINK NEXT DOOR starring Will Farrell and Paul Rudd) and Jordana Mollick (whose producing credits include: HELLO MY NAME IS DORIS starring Sally Fields, and LOVEBIRDS starring Issa Rae and Kumail Nanjiani). The company expanded with its First Look Deal with Warner Media streaming platform.

During the past few years, Sam has had a role in the production of their award-winning films and series, which include: Emmy Award Winning series THE DROPOUT (Hulu), SEARCH PARTY (Max) starring Alia Shawkat, the two time Oscar Winning film THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE (Searchlight Pictures), THE SHRINK NEXT DOOR (Apple), THE BIG SICK (Amazon), I LOVE THAT FOR YOU (Showtime), SPOILER ALERT (Focus) and more! Ceci Cleary, Producer at Bluewater Lane Productions

Ceci Cleary, a producer of the Oscar-nominated film TO LESLIE, which is currently streaming on Netflix, has carved a significant niche for herself in the entertainment industry. In addition, she produced the film 40 LOVE, also currently available on Netflix. Both these critically acclaimed films fall under the banner of Bluewater Lane Productions, further consolidating her prominent position in the industry.

Recently, Cleary made a guest appearance on the hit TV show, THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, to promote an upcoming feature film. But Cleary's talents extend beyond producing. She has also explored various other facets of the entertainment industry, showcasing her prowess as a sports model, stuntwoman, and actor.

With a career spanning over 18 years in the film industry, Ceci has made substantial contributions to feature films in various locations, including Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and Hawaii. Her impressive portfolio includes roles such as working with the locations manager on the prestigious Clint Eastwood project HEREAFTER scouting locations for HOPE SPRINGS starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell, and serving as a body double on EQUALIZER 2 featuring Denzel Washington.

Miranda Seymour, Story Analyst

Miranda Seymour is a professional Story Analyst with over 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, analyzing scripts and books with an eye to quality, character, plot, concept, and cinematic potential, as well as identifying trends in the film and television market. Miranda currently freelances as a story analyst for Lionsgate Entertainment, MGM Epix, and Welle Entertainment (THE WOMAN KING). Prior to this, she freelanced for Netflix, Amazon, and STX, as well as the annual Nicholl Fellowship, a script-reading contest run by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts.

Miranda was a staff story analyst at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for 23 years, the largest global talent agency in the entertainment industry. She was the designated confidential reader for former CAA founder and CEO, Mike Ovitz. Miranda is a native of the United Kingdom and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Goldsmiths College, University of London. She is also a writer (screenplays and fiction), a Nicholl Fellowship Finalist, and an avid Netflix addict.
