Happy Tuesday, Creative Army!
As the world continues to get smaller we love bringing together our community together every day through our platform. We wake up every day intending to give you all the tools and resources you need to help with your professional development as a creative. That's why I’m incredibly excited to share a major development that will elevate how we serve you here at Stage 32.
As of yesterday, Monday, May 5th, we have officially migrated all of our consultations, which include Pitch Sessions, Consultation Calls, and Career Development Sessions, to Zoom.
What This Means for You
Whether you’re pitching your screenplay, discussing your acting or directing reel, getting feedback on your series bible, or building your career with expert advice, Zoom will now be the standard for how you connect with industry professionals - by video or by phone. Now, with the world-class technology of Zoom there will be no more missed or blocked phone calls or frozen video calls so you can focus on what matters - getting the support and feedback you need from professionals you can trust.
As you know, for over a decade Stage 32 has offered pitching, consulting, coverage, career development, mentoring and much more for screenwriters, producers, actors, filmmakers, financiers and other creatives and professionals by connecting them with our roster of over 3,000 executives that we work with. Your work and career deserves full transparency and that's what we offer by allowing YOU to pick the executive that YOU want to work with. Our track record and success stories over the last 14 years speaks for itself! It's our mission to provide you with more access and opportunities daily.
And speaking of access and opportunities...

To kick off this exciting new development we have rolled out 21 - yes, 21! brand new pitch sessions on Zoom! We've brought in top literary managers, development executives and producers from places like Sugar23, Zero Gravity, Amasia Entertainment, Robert Cort, Roundtable Entertainment and more who are all excited to listen to pitches on Zoom!
As with all Stage 32 pitch sessions, you can pitch your script via Zoom or written pitch and you’ll receive professional feedback on your Pitch Delivery/Format,Clarity of Pitch, Set Up of Protagonist(s) & World, Obstacles & Conflict, Clarity of Tone, Originality of Concept and Strength of Voice. If an executive likes your pitch, they have the ability to request your script to learn more, and if they are interested they can request a meeting with you and we will facilitate the introduction!

The goal with our Career Development Program is to help you move forward and take the next step in your craft, career or project with advice from a seasoned professional in film or television. You will be able to submit an overview of your work to your executive to read ahead of time - this can include a portfolio of titles & loglines of your projects, your bio, an overview of where you are at in your career, details about a project you are working on, links to your work and 3 questions about what you are trying to accomplish. You will then have an hour long call with the mentor of your choice. This offers you complete transparency of who you are talking to and getting advice from.
- Transparency: Your full script will be read by the executive that you choose based on their bio with their knowledge of current market trends in mind.
- Direct Access: A private, 30 minute-long phone call or Zoom video call in which the executive will provide detailed feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your piece, plus suggestions on development to ensure that your project is market-ready.
- Industry Standard Rating: You will receive an industry standard rating of pass/consider or recommend for both you as a writer and your project.
- Double Recommend Lookbook + Badge Perks: If the executive recommends you as a writer and your script to us ("Double Recommend"), we will send your script, bio & logline out to over 500 managers, agents, producers, financiers and executives in our Stage 32 Look Book. Plus, you will automatically get a special Double Recommend Badge on Stage 32 Profile showing that an vetted Stage 32 executive has recommended both you as a writer and a project of yours. This is the highest honor reserved for our top writers. Our Look Book is much anticipated and has resulted in meetings at CAA, WME, 3 Arts, Broken Road, Cold Iron, Verve, Gidden Media and More!
- BONUS! If the executive you submitted your script to would like another meeting with you we will be notified and will facilitate that request and make a direct introduction - we've made thousands of introductions between writers and executives!
Now, exclusively through Stage 32, you can have a professional actively working in the film and television industry read your pitch deck or pitch bible and hop on a call with you discuss their feedback. The goal is to help your bible be the best it can be. You will work directly with an executive of your choice to develop your bible to give you the best competitive advantage for today's market.
Through Stage 32 Reel Review you can elevate your reel to make sure that you stand out to decision makers. And, you have the power to target the industry professional of your choice. Send your reel, short film, sizzle reel, trailer, feature clip or TV pilot up to 30-minutes. Then speak with that professional one-on-one privately for 30-minutes.
With our Adaptation Review you will submit an overview of your Intellectual Property (book, manuscript, graphic novel, article, podcast, etc.), your bio, a synopsis of your work, character descriptions and questions you'd like to ask your executive. Then, you'll schedule a 60 minute (minimum) call to talk through their professional feedback and where it fits in the marketplace. This is your opportunity to build a professional relationship with someone on the inside of the industry. It is also your chance to discuss not only your projects's strengths and weaknesses, but an overall development and sales strategy with the help of a professional.
Imagine having access to all this in our new, improved private Zoom meeting experiences!

Zoom is user-friendly, reliable, and delivers excellent video and audio quality, ensuring you put your best foot forward with every pitch or consultation. Plus, it makes scheduling, connecting, and presenting your work smoother and more professional.
You’ll now have two ways to connect with executives and mentors:
Your Zoom meeting link can be found by going to your Settings (gear icon, top right of your Stage 32 account) > Purchase History > then selecting your order confirmation.
This new format enhances the flow, presentation quality, and setup experience for both our executives and our members, allowing you to truly maximize every opportunity.
Zoom rooms will open 10 minutes before your meeting and close 10 minutes after your session time ends. So be ready early and take full advantage of every second!
We’re not here to offer you access for the sake of it—we’re here to help you succeed.
This transition to Zoom is just one more way we’re making Stage 32 the most powerful platform in the world for creatives ready to work.
No matter where you live or where you are in your creative journey, you now have smoother, stronger, and more professional ways to connect with industry professionals across every area of film and television.
Let’s make this next chapter count.
Now, I want to hear from you in the comments:
Here’s to leveling up—together.

RB
