Happy Sunday, Creative Army!

Have you had a creative weekend so far? I have some content here for you that is sure to get the creative juices flowing, so grab your coffee, and let's dive in.

First up, in this video from The Editing Podcast, hosts Hayden Hillier Smith and Jordan Orme sit down with the acclaimed editor behind David Fincher's brilliant cinematic masterpieces, Kirk Baxter! Kirk's illustrious career spans iconic films such as “The Social Network”, “Gone Girl”, and “The Killer”. His insights into the creative decisions behind each cut and the rhythmic flow of the sequence offer a rare glimpse into the mind of a true Post-Production master who has left his mark on cinema forever.

Next up, I’m sharing my tips on how to up your professional game when it comes to pursuing top-tier film festivals. The A-tier festivals like Sundance, Tribeca, Telluride, Cannes, etc. have become more and more star-filled over the years, while the B-tier festivals are considered the true championing ground of Independent Filmmaking. Understanding the differences in the festivals that are available to you and which is best suited to YOUR particular project, is the secret to moving the needle. Learn more in this video!
