I entered a short story contest.
Congratulations on getting close to finishing the trailer, Bobby Wallace! Looking forward to seeing it! I'm rewriting a feature script this week.
Congratulations, Rick Oldham! I hope you win!

Maurice Vaughan .. Thanks Mo! What’s your process like do you schedule time to write, are you more like when the inspiration tugs? Also what do you think about “taking breaks????” I’m very interested in your perspective as I’m told all the time You need to take a break…which I do, but more so when my body says I should vs someone else’s opinion.
You're welcome, Bobby Wallace. I mainly write in the morning and noon/afternoon. I take breaks throughout the day and on weekends, but a lot of times, I'll end up writing on the weekend. What's your writing schedule like?

I love seeing everyone working. I restructured my beat board based on a class I took a few months ago. I'm trying to learn how to use a few features on Final Draft that I hadn't used before because my first project was a book-to-script. Starting fresh from a beat board is interesting.

Congratulations on the progress with your beat board, Melanie Lang! I've been learning how to use the features on Final Draft too. I haven't tried the beat board yet, but I plan to.

Maurice Vaughan Lololol To be honest Mo I just let the faucet run!! I have so much work to do I end up forcing myself to go to sleep around 3 am. But between editing, finishing the script for the series and researching for my next feature my mind is constantly going. That said I’m in the gym at least 6 hours a day so I’m fresh I’m just obsessive!!

Melanie Lang What’s up Mel! I love the beat board!! It helps organize my stories s structure and as I’m extremely visual I utilize different color index cards to align with the feeling or climate of the scene. I will say I find that I have gotten a lot looser with it…I found that while the structure is great, our characters take on a life of their and don’t give a Sh&$ about page # they have to say what they have to say
Cool, Bobby Wallace. I let the faucet run sometimes. I'm pretty much always on Stage 32, I'm working on a few projects (two rewrites, a short script, and a TV series), and I'm doing other things, so I know what you mean by your mind is constantly going.

Bobby Wallace Your cards look like all my tabs open both on my computer and in my mind. I also just finished reading and providing feedback for a friend here on S32. Great script! Hope to see him get it out to the right person.
