Define 'change gears'. Change into what? 'President at Noel Studios' suggests a business base, 'Director' suggests a people oriented creative visionary quest, DOP suggests more of a technical based vision, 'Editor' is a highly technical artistic task and a still Photographer tends to be in the continuity sphere - what do you want to emphasize?
Greetings, First of all thank you for your reply! Specifically, when I say change gears I mean begin producing documentaries and feature type projects. I have supported myself for the past several decades producing commercial work. Cheers, Rip
Hey, Rip Noel! You are certainly in the right place to find endless opportunities. Do you have a specific genre/style that interests you? People are always after producers. There's loglines galore in the logline section for you to see if anything piques your interest.
Hi Dan, I am wide open to ANY good story! I am an avid reader and devour 30 to 40 books every year. One of my favorite films his death at a funeral… So comedies are definitely something I enjoy if they're done well. Are you familiar with this film? BTW, thank you for reaching out. I read RB's book and that's how I ended up here on 32. By the way I found he is very easily reached and eager to answer any question he can he seems like a really good guy. Cheers, Rip
Hey Rip, I am. I like both the British and American one, but as a Brit the British comedy takes the lead for me. It looks as though you've got the technical/artistic skills etc. Now you can start reaching out to fellow creatives! Check the lounges, browse the loglines, post if you're after certain parts for collaboration etc. Enjoy yourself and I hope you find some cool projects to bring to the big screen!
HI Rip Noel I was just thinking this morning if I wanted to try and get a team together to create like a credit reel/short film. I'm not sure if that's something you're looking for, but just thought I would mention it. I'm a screenwriter, so I'd be up for a collaboration to give everyone good exposure/credit. I write comedy, drama/suspense/adventure usually with a kick ass female protagonist.
Hi Noel, Thank you for reaching out! I too love great comedy. One of my favorites is "Death at a Funeral"... have you seen it? I see that you are a sailor. I too have been bitten with the sailing bug and can Captain up to 100 tons. I used to keep a small live aboard over on Hilton Head Island South Carolina but sold it years ago when I was starting to build my horse farm. I still miss that boat but do bareboat charter as often as possible.
Basically, I'm trying to feel my way around here on Stage 32 but I am up for just about anything. I look forward to hearing more about your idea. Cheers and thanks for reaching out!
Thank you Cherelynn, I'll second that! I've spent my entire life making images and I absolutely love a great story. Seems like I may have ended up in the right place here. Again, thank you for your kindness it's much appreciated. Cheers.

Hey, Rip Noel! I second Doug's line of questioning - what do YOU want to do?
